Current Favorite Shows

1. AWKWARD.
Awkward has got to be my favorite show! Jenna Hamilton is the main character and she is trying to find her identity. After her "suicidal" incident, she became known as the girl who tried to kill herself. Later on she has drama with guys, friends, and family. She just can't seem to live a normal life. It's really a chick-flick kind of show and I highly recommend it.

2. MODERN FAMILY
Modern Family is  a show about three families, although they are all related somehow. We watch them as they go through their fun filled, hazardous, life. Something is always happening and I always have a laugh when I watch this show.

3. THE CARRIE DIARIES
I really like this show because of all the fashion in it! It's also set back in the 80's and I just love that decade! It's about Carrie and her life. She is in highschool but she also got an internship at Interview Magazine so she has to balance both living the life of a grown up and a highschool student. This show has a lot of drama and I just love it so much.

4. BATES MOTEL
Bates Motel is a show about Norman Bates and his family. It is a prologue to the movie "Psycho" directed in 1960, by Alfred Hitchcock. Norman Bates and his mother, Nora move to another town to start a new. They buy a new house and motel which they rename Bates Motel. As they will learn soon enough, the little town has more secrets and troubles than they had planned for. This show has a lot of mystery and keeps you on the edge, waiting for the next episode to come out.

5. THE GOLDBERGS
This show is set in the 80's and it's about a crazy family. It was created by Adam F. Goldberg so I'm pretty sure some of the things that happen in the show actually happened in reality. Eleven year old Adam is the main character and narrator but the show really revolves around the whole family and their own problems too. Adam always has is video camera and catches all the funny moments. This show always has me cracking up!

Christmas Outfit

Hey followers! So if you looked at my post before this one, I wore this outfit for Christmas. I thought this was really cute. I probably look like a little girl in this picture but oh well! I thought I would do something different and wear a Christmas looking shirt with this just to make it look more... Chritmasy...I don't think that's a word, but I'm going with it. I don't know where it's from because it's my mom's shirt, but it's really cute. If you wouldn't want to go as bold, you could just switch it out for something that's just plain red or maybe green would do too. I paired it with a patterned skirt and as you can see, it's sort of thin so you can kind of see through it, but if you're subconscious about that, you can just wear something black under, over your panties. I also wore some black knee high socks to keep me warm out here in the snow. Last but not least, I wore a red bow to wrap up the outfit!

Links for some of these pieces are at the bottom.

Better Late Than Never!

Hey followers and sorry I'm two days late on this post! I've just been so busy with family Christmas parties and everything. I also got my wisdom teeth taken out today so I had no time to put this post up earlier. My cheeks are still pretty big, but I hear they're supposed to get bigger tomorrow and i'm dreading that. I won't be taking pictures anytime soon with these chipmunk cheeks so i'll come up with something else.

So I had a wonderful Christmas with my family and I got some clothes but I got a lot of money and giftcards and truly, I would rather get giftcards or money so I can get clothes that I know I want for sure. But here are some pictures of my family on Christmas!

Christmas Eve 2013

Today is Christmas Eve!!! As tradition, my family and I open our presents on the night of Christmas Eve right after we come home from mass. I know most people open them on the morning of Christmas day, but I guess we're unique! Then on Christmas day, we have all our relatives come over and we just have a great time together.

So this is my outfit for today. This oversized sweater is just so comfortable and has an Aztec kind of look to it. I think it looks very cute and I got it for $15, although it was originally $25. I paired it with some leather pants and I guess leather isn't such a smart idea to wear during winter. It was 14 degrees out yesterday, in Kansas. I also wore a simple cami and high heeled boots that I got at Forever 21.

Sweater Weather

Sweater (old) // Tights (old) // Boots- F21 // Scarf- Von Maur

Hey everyone! So I had the urge to take pictures today it was 30 degrees outside. I could see my breath the second I stepped outside! I had my youngest sister take my pictures for me and I felt bad because her hand were probably freezing off...as was mine. But I decided to keep it really casual for this outfit. I found a big ol' baggy sweatshirt laying around the house and decided it would look cute. This look is really casual and cute and very comfortable. Who wouldn't want to be comfortable while looking cute?!

What do you guys think about this look?

It's Almost Christmas!

Last Tuesday the Flyer magazine, for my high school, came out and I was on the front cover with my best friend! I was waiting for it to come out for about two weeks now. I thought it turned out okay, but then I looked inside the cover and saw that they had gotten my name wrong and put my sister's name instead so i was a little disappointed. But I understand that the staff was low on time for this volume so it's all good.

Now, Christmas is coming in five days! And i'm Catholic so that means its pretty big for me, with mass and Jesus being born. I just love Christmas so much! I love all the presents and being with family. It's just the best feeling ever! I still haven't gone Christmas shopping though and I usually just make all my gifts because I feel like it just means a lot more. So I'm planning to make something for my friends.

Pictures for Sisters

Hey everyone! Most of you may not know, but i'm pretty good with the camera, so my older sister has asked me to take her senior pictures for her. I've had a couple sessions with her because she wants to do pictures every season. I've done three sessions with her and I just think it's really fun to shoot for my siblings!

Summer in California!

Hey everyone! So today, I will be talking about my trip to California this last summer. I was very excited when I first found out that I was going to visit my family, who live over there, for the summer. I live in Kansas, so as you can guess, there's nothing here to really do. I had a blast staying over there for two weeks and I did something every single day! I had cut my hair a month before leaving to California so it looks shorter in the pictures. Here are some pictures for you to see.

The city lights of Los Angeles

This was at Santa Monica Beach with my older sister.

Later on we went to Zuma Beach in Malibu. My younger sister on my left and my older one on my right.
Here I am kayaking. It was surprisingly easy to control and it was really fun, although my arms were a little bit tired after.

Outside of an Aquarium with my sisters and cousin. There isn't an aquarium in Kansas so I was excited it see all the sea creatures there. My youngest sister does not look too happy though.

So there is a brief little talk about how I had a wonderful two weeks in California. I wish I could just move out there! I would never get bored there like I do so often in Kansas. I got to see family that I hadn't seen in a very long time and it was wonderful. Maybe one day I can move out there!

Thanks for visiting and stay tuned for the next post!
