Good Things Come In Time.

Hey! So I'm sorry I haven't posted in a long time... again. I've been swamped with projects from school and everything. Track season is also starting in two weeks so I'll have even less time to make posts but I'll try my best to do it whenever I can. Alright so two Saturdays ago was the Sweetheart dance. for those of you who don't know what that is, it's when the girl has to ask the guy to be her date for the dance. It's also known as Sadies. It was pretty fun though. I had an alright time, Prom will be much better though!

Vietnamese New Years (Lunar New Years) mass was the day after the Sweetheart dance so I had a busy weekend! There were dragons and lucky money as usual. What I'm wearing is called a long dress. It's a traditional Vietnamese dress and then under it, be where silk pant. There were dragons and in reality, there's people dressed up under the costume and it's pretty impressive. There are two people under and they doe tricks and balance on eachother. It's always fun to watch.

Snow Day!

Hey Everyone! So as you can see, it's snowed in Kansas again. I got snow days on Tuesday and today so i'm very happy about that! I might get another one tomorrow too, fingers-crossed. It's been very boring being stuck in the house doing nothing though. I can't go out on the roads and drive because my parents won't let me but I guess its better than going to school. I might go out and build Olaf, from Frozen, with my siblings in a little bit, if I don't get too lazy. 

Last Friday was Lunar New Years. I got a lot of money from my family! For the people who don't know what this is, it's basically the New Years for Asians. My family calls it Vietnamese New Years because we're Vietnamese. We pass out red envelopes to eachother and it's called lucky money. I look forward to it every year. Here are just some pictures of my family!
