Back To School

Hey everyone! So I guess it's that time again. Of course my first day of senior year was last Thursday, as I said, but tomorrow will be the first day of a whole week back to school because I had no school last Friday. I thought the first day was awfully long but imagine a whole week! Wish me luck!

So here is just a picture of the ohhh soooo many cute choices I get to choose from for my back to school outfits. Haha fun right? I must admit, although I don't get to wear everything I want, like a public school does, my school does offer a lot of choices to choose from... for a uniform. Also, these uniforms aren't so bad looking either. I mean, the bright side is that I don't have to go out and buy new clothes for everyday of the school year.

Hey followers! I started school just this last Thursday and it was probably longer than the past three years of my highschool career combined! At least it is my senior year this year so it should be good. I can't believe it though. I am so not ready for college! Anyways, I went to the WSU campus with my sister two days ago because she had to go pick up books for her freshman year in college this year. I saw that they were selling this shirt and I just had to get it. I've been wanting one of these types of shirts for a long time and I was thrilled that I found one that represented the college that I'm planning to go to. Twinkling Lights

Hey everyone! Yesterday I had a little kickback with my friends and decided to decorate my backyard a little bit, just to give it a little pop and I thought, 'what would accomplish that more than lights?!' So I went ahead and did that. My sister had strung up the lights in the gazebo before and then I added lights onto the railing out on the deck that is located above my pool/pond. What is a pool/pond you say? Well that is what I call what used to be a community pool before my father bought it and turned it into a fish pond. I still can't believe it. It was the perfect pool, eight feet deep! He turned it when I was very young, about three, so I only got to swim in it for a couple years. To this day, I get mad every summer about not having my own pool.

Festival Fun

Hey everyone! So two days ago I went to go see Ra Ra Riot perform at the Riverfestival. It's an annual festival held in downtown Wichita, Kansas and it's been going on for 43 years now. This year they accually had some good performances who I actually wanted to go see, like Ra Ra Riot and The Mowgli's. Sadly, I didn't make it in time to see The Mowgli's perform though. Overall, I would say Riverfest is a good way for the city to get together. There are many different things to do like the carnival, food, contests, etc. I'll \some pictures down below of Ra Ra Riot and the other things I did.

Summertime Lovin

Hey everyone! It's finally summer and I am so happy! I'm done with all the stress of school and finals for awhile. It's time to relax and do crazy things with friends. I know I haven't posted in a long time but hopefully now I can start posting a little bit more. I still don't know what I have planned for this summer but stay tuned and you'll find out soon enough. 

Good Things Come In Time.

Hey! So I'm sorry I haven't posted in a long time... again. I've been swamped with projects from school and everything. Track season is also starting in two weeks so I'll have even less time to make posts but I'll try my best to do it whenever I can. Alright so two Saturdays ago was the Sweetheart dance. for those of you who don't know what that is, it's when the girl has to ask the guy to be her date for the dance. It's also known as Sadies. It was pretty fun though. I had an alright time, Prom will be much better though!

Vietnamese New Years (Lunar New Years) mass was the day after the Sweetheart dance so I had a busy weekend! There were dragons and lucky money as usual. What I'm wearing is called a long dress. It's a traditional Vietnamese dress and then under it, be where silk pant. There were dragons and in reality, there's people dressed up under the costume and it's pretty impressive. There are two people under and they doe tricks and balance on eachother. It's always fun to watch.

Snow Day!

Hey Everyone! So as you can see, it's snowed in Kansas again. I got snow days on Tuesday and today so i'm very happy about that! I might get another one tomorrow too, fingers-crossed. It's been very boring being stuck in the house doing nothing though. I can't go out on the roads and drive because my parents won't let me but I guess its better than going to school. I might go out and build Olaf, from Frozen, with my siblings in a little bit, if I don't get too lazy. 

Last Friday was Lunar New Years. I got a lot of money from my family! For the people who don't know what this is, it's basically the New Years for Asians. My family calls it Vietnamese New Years because we're Vietnamese. We pass out red envelopes to eachother and it's called lucky money. I look forward to it every year. Here are just some pictures of my family!

KILLIN' IT

Hey everyone! Okay, so sorry I have not blogged in a very very long time! But I've just been super busy. I have school and i'm getting back in shape for track season right now too. So you guessed it....I'll be even more busy during the spring time and won't have so much time to blog. Although, I will try my best to blog whenever I can! Anyways, Sweetheart dance is coming up, so since the girl has to ask the guy to the dance, I decided to ask one of my guy friends. I got my dress and shoes already so i'm very excited. I'm also going to have one of my friends do my hair and makeup since I'm not the best at any of those.

This top is from Brandy Melville and I find that their pricing is decent. Their clothes are around the same price range as Forever 21's and I shop there a lot so find another store that sort of matches their price is pretty good. Brand Melville's clothing has a pretty thin material because it's more like California clothing. It doesn't get doesn't get down to the 20's there, like ever, so you won't find any heavy duty clothing for the winter here. I also paired the top with some high waisted shorts that I found in my closet and cut myself, so they aren't the best looking. My nail polish is in the color Princess from Forever 21.
